The Washington Post laid out Donald Trump's artificial-intelligence holdings on Sunday, reading them off his own financial disclosures. The president bought shares in Dell, Micron, Broadcom, Texas Instruments and three other companies that build or power the machines running AI. He has made roughly 30,000 securities transactions since returning to office. He reported more than $2 billion in income for 2025. He holds no blind trust, and he has gone on buying and selling stock while president.
Narativ published the first piece of this on 15 September. FiveStack showed Trump calling the danger of AI "a HOAX" on Truth Social the day before, while his own June disclosure showed him buying up to $5 million of Nvidia — the company selling the chips.
Donald Trump Jr. is a partner at an investment firm that closed a $1.2 billion fund, part of it for data-center real estate, and holds stakes in three AI companies including Elon Musk's xAI. A spokesperson for the firm said the president's son acts "as a private citizen." Eric Trump backs a satellite-data startup through a second firm. The brothers folded their data-center venture into a crypto-mining company now building a site in Texas. Trump Media, which owns Truth Social, is merging with a fusion-power company to run AI data centers.
Trump's holdings are one half of this. He is building the other half inside the government, and on land the public owns.
