Kimberly Guilfoyle lost her job on Tuesday, less than a week after Eric Deters' texts surfaced. The next names on his list are Donald Trump's sons.

Deters is the Kentucky lawyer who paid Guilfoyle and kept the receipts. By his own count he paid Donald Trump Jr. $200,000 for two appearances and Eric Trump $100,000. He put $125,000 into Trump's PAC and paid $100,000 to go to the Kentucky Derby with Trump. He paid Guilfoyle, Don Jr.'s former fiancée, $300,000. CBS reviewed the texts, which Deters handed over inside a 292-page file, "dozens of pages of grievances against Trump world figures," and quoted him on Guilfoyle, Don Jr., Eric Trump and Trump's PAC.

What he wanted for the money was Dr. Abubakar Atiq Durrani brought back from Pakistan, where he fled. Deters emailed Susie Wiles, Guilfoyle and Don Jr. a deadline to "set in motion some assistance to extradite Dr. Durrani back from Pakistan." Nobody did.

Guilfoyle fell first because she put the ask in writing. On July 3, 2025, six days before her confirmation hearing, she asked for $100,000 more. "It won't show up anywhere if you wire money to American Express that's all that will show," the text reads, and then, "I have been officially announced honey please I need you to get this done for me today." He says he never sent it. What the $725,000 to Guilfoyle, the Trump sons and the PAC bought him was a letter from Guilfoyle to the IRS commissioner asking him to look at Deters' tax issue. Durrani is still in Pakistan.

White House officials were told the texts were authentic, CBS reported. Guilfoyle's lawyer Jesse Binnall says they "were not authentic," and her lawyers say the $100,000 was money owed for earlier appearances, a debt they are "evaluating all available legal remedies to collect."

On Tuesday the White House press secretary announced: "We have asked Ambassador Guilfoyle to resign." Trump: "She went to Greece. She was doing a good job, but we didn't like what we were reading." Guilfoyle, on X: "These allegations are false, and I intend to vigorously defend my name, my reputation, and my integrity."

Lev Parnas said on FiveStack on Tuesday that Deters is going "scorched earth, not only on Kimberly, but against Trump also."
