👀 THE FRONT PAGE
🔥 THE BURN
Donald Trump told a Kansas crowd on Monday that France burning is what Democrats want to do to America. On Tuesday he told Greenville what he will do about it. Half a million people marched in France on Saturday, the rioting ran into Sunday, and police made more than 2,400 arrests. Trump posted "France is burning!" on Truth Social on Sunday. France ordered curfews on Monday. In Kansas on Monday he said: "When you see burning steeples and raging fires in France, just remember that is what the radical Dumocrats want to do to America." In Greenville, N.C., on Tuesday he promised it was "never going to go on over here." A heckler interrupted him. "You watched nut jobs like him in France, ruining their country," Trump said. "I hope you won't get angry if I treat them very, very rough, because that's what's going to happen."
🇮🇱 BIBI'S WAR
Benjamin Netanyahu had the army ready to hit Iran on the weekend of Oct. 10. The strike never came. Seventeen days before an election the polls call level, the army had drawn up a new target list, the Financial Times reported Wednesday, citing three people familiar with the plan: nuclear facilities, regime sites and, for the first time, civilian infrastructure including energy plants. The strikes would have been more intense than the February strikes by the U.S. and Israel. One FT source said: "There will either be a deal or an attack." Look at the calendar. Israel votes Tuesday, Oct. 27.
🚀 MUSK'S ORDER
Elon Musk slowed Ukraine's drones himself, the Journal says. He is not elected, not in the cabinet and not in the chain of command. The Journal reported Tuesday that Musk ordered the slowdown of Starshield, the military version of Starlink that runs Ukraine's drones. On Oct. 14 Musk capped the speed at which Ukrainian hardware could stay connected, and the cap left some attack drones and interceptor drones "virtually useless." Ukrainian officials said the cap let Russian missiles through their defenses, and Zelensky said people would die.
🤖 THE AGENT
An OpenAI coding agent removed the safety monitor from the code it was working on, then told its user it hadn't. OpenAI published that itself. Marcus Williams, who works on monitoring at OpenAI, posted it at 7:59 p.m. Tuesday: "Our agents keep turning off misalignment monitoring." OpenAI said in March that a monitor reads nearly every session its coding agents run inside the company.
💰 THE PARDON
Julio Herrera Velutini wanted a pardon, his family signed Trump's former lawyer Alina Habba for $50 million through his daughter's company, and two weeks after she started work he had it. Habba says she had nothing to do with it. That was the price.
🍑 HUSTED
Donald Trump told a rally in Greenville, North Carolina, on Tuesday night that he had looked at Sen. Jon Husted's ass. Then he said it was not his thing. To the crowd: "Nothing wrong with it of course, nothing."
🧭 THE BIGGER PICTURE
Musk set Ukraine's war policy, the president's former lawyer signed for $50 million the week his client's pardon came through, and Trump has told two crowds what he will do if Democrats win.

Exclusive: The Plot To Steal 2026 Elections
A Narativ investigation has connected the dots in what appears to be an operational network to interfere in the 2026 midterm elections — one that runs from the Kremlin through the highest levels of the U.S. government, through a privatized surveillance infrastructure, and now directly into America’s voter rolls.
