Constitutional Basis for Petition

Violations of Due Process

Starlink conflicts: Elon Musk's dual role as DOGE head and Starlink owner created unprecedented conflicts in federal technology decisions, with unauthorized Starlink terminals found at federal agencies including GSA headquarters
Violations of First Amendment Protection
There are concerns regarding the protection of first amendment rights like free speech and a free press taht are vital for democracy to function.

AP exclusion from White House: White House barred AP journalists from events after they refused to adopt Trump's mandated term "Gulf of America" instead of "Gulf of Mexico" - federal judge ruled this unconstitutional viewpoint discrimination (February 2025)
FCC merger threats: FCC Chairman Brendan Carr announced agency would reject mergers involving media companies that promote DEI initiatives, stating firms must "eliminate discriminatory DEI practices" to gain approval - weaponizing regulatory power to enforce ideological conformity
Voice of America shutdown: Trump abruptly closed the 83-year-old government broadcaster, claiming it was "anti-Trump," despite its mandate to provide impartial news
