There was so much today that broke my heart for Ukraine, for this country and Europe. That one madman under the influence of Putin along with the feckless, weak and immoral Republicans can wreak such global havoc and pain. I am still furious with the people who voted for him again -that turned out in numbers where the election could be stolen, but worse the people who sat on their ass and did not. I have been on the phone with my Senators, Congressman, Governor, State Attorney General Office speaking my mind about what their duty is (thankfully all except one POS congressman are Dems). I do whatever I can to say involved, engaged and working like millions of others to try and save ourselves against odds that are becoming more dangerous. Democracy is not a spectator sport as they say. The five alarm fire is now a 20 alarm. Thank you Zev for continuing to bring the facts and reality to us so it cannot be ignored.
I tend to be more optimistic. The American public sadly doesn’t inform themselves nearly enough. They heard, maybe for the first time, the Italian prime minister bring up the thousands of kidnapped Ukrainian children. If the MSM does their job and discusses this it will inflame Americans and give Ukraine more sympathy. Trump is a tool of Putin probably going all the way back to his 1st wife Ivana. Her father was connected and she likely introduced dummy Trump into the Russian fold. He has to side with Putin or else but we don’t. We can raise holy hell and make it harder for him to sell Ukraine out.
