I would say this is a solid statement overall. Something I see somewhat over the top with the Epstein matter is the idea that everyone who ever associated with him is a pedophile. People do sometimes lead double lives and Epstein appears to be someone who may have lead triple ones. Some men he did business with. Some he partied with, and some were in the abuse of women and girls category. It’s hard to separate which category men shown in the voluminous amounts of photos that exist were in. Lumping everyone together doesn’t get to the truth.
I don’t consider myself particularly naive and I think Bill fits the I’m here to party category. There’s no evidence it was otherwise. Was it smart to party? Maybe not, but who hasn’t partied with someone later discovered to be leading a double life? Many people, especially in the circles these men traveled in. Now with Trump there is evidence he was a man who easily was with Epstein for sex with minors or the DOJ wouldn’t be twisting themselves into pretzels to keep it from coming out. Bill no.
