I was on the National Mall in front of the Washington Monument for the May Day event. Labor and religious groups, among others. Crowd was disappointingly small and missing a unified message. Walking back across to the Metro afterwards with our signs, no one seemed to know about the rally and the general strike. Couldn't get the mainstream media to promote it--they are still the mouthpiece most people pay attention to. Sad
They should just let people vote on everything. Our elected officials are not representing us, there’s never any forward movement. I think we’d do better without all these representatives fattening their own bank accounts. Total corruption. Go back to teaching life skills and civics in schools instead of always teaching to the test. That system only rewards wealthy white neighborhoods. Big changes needed!
Iran doesn't want a deal with us -Trump couldn't do it if they did want it! All he does is bully, and REMEMBER , anything he does has to be monetarily beneficial for him only - otherwise he is not interested! No care for Constitution, the Economy or Americans! He is way over his head but won't listen to anyone.
Trump is president as a product of MAGA voters affirmative action for rich, mediocre, old, white men who are assholes. That is also his hiring criteria. Mostly White, mostly Men. If not, more likely to get the heave ho when the going gets rough.
