National Security Advisor Mike Waltz has built the Trump administration's National Security Council communications infrastructure largely on Signal, the encrypted messaging app known for its privacy features and optional message auto-deletion capability.
Multiple sources with direct knowledge have confirmed to Politico that Waltz established Signal as the primary communications channel for coordinating sensitive national security matters, raising serious concerns about transparency, recordkeeping, and security protocols.
"Waltz built the entire NSC communications process on Signal," revealed one insider. All four sources were granted anonymity as they weren't authorized to discuss these private communications arrangements.
