Day 147: White House Amplifies Hitler-Praising White Christian Nationalist Propaganda

The authoritarian escalation reaches new depths as Trump's regime institutionalizes extremism The Trump Tyranny Tracker Day 147 with Olga Lautman and Zev Shalev

Get 35% off forever

Day 147 of the Trump administration delivered a cascade of authoritarian milestones that would have been unthinkable just months ago. From the White House directly amplifying Nazi propaganda to Marines detaining American veterans on U.S. soil, the machinery of democratic destruction is operating in plain sight.

⚔️ Pentagon Confirms Military Invasion Plans Against NATO Ally

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth told Congress the Pentagon has "plans for any contingency," including military takeovers of Greenland and Panama. When pressed about invading Denmark—a NATO ally—Hegseth didn't deny it, saying planners prepare for "whatever's needed." Meanwhile, Trump continues declaring "We'll get Greenland. Yeah, 100 percent." The response from Europe was swift: French President Macron traveled to Greenland to send a clear message that European forces will defend Danish territory against American aggression. We now have a U.S. president threatening NATO allies while lobbying for Russia's return to the G7—the same Russia kicked out for invading Ukraine.

👁️ Predator Drones Surveilling American Protesters

U.S. Customs and Border Protection confirmed flying military-grade Predator B drones over Los Angeles to aid ICE operations amid mass protests. These war-zone surveillance tools, equipped with facial recognition and cross-referenced against government databases including Palantir systems, operate alongside 700 active-duty Marines and 4,000 federalized National Guard troops. This represents the complete militarization of domestic protest response—the kind of surveillance apparatus that ends freedom of assembly and expression. As protesters exercised their First Amendment rights, Trump's regime deployed the same technology used to hunt terrorists in Afghanistan to identify and track American citizens.

📉 Trump's Failed Parade Versus 12 Million Marchers

The contrast couldn't have been starker: Trump's military birthday parade drew only 10,000 attendees while over 12 million Americans participated in "No Kings Day" protests across 2,100 locations nationwide. The parade itself was a disaster—soldiers deliberately marched out of step in what appeared to be silent protest, the drone show failed, and Trump reportedly nodded off during his own anthem. Even Russia mocked the pathetic display, creating videos comparing it to North Korean parades. Meanwhile, the massive protests sent a global message that Americans are alive and fighting back against authoritarianism.

⛓️ Historic First: Marines Detain U.S. Citizen on American Soil

U.S. Marines in Los Angeles detained civilian veteran Marcos Leao after he crossed caution tape near a federal building while heading to a VA appointment. He was zip-tied and held for over two hours without charges—marking the first time active-duty Marines have detained a U.S. citizen on American soil. The bitter irony that their first domestic detention was a Black veteran seeking VA services perfectly captures the regime's priorities. These Marines weren't trained for domestic policing, and their reluctance showed—but the line has been crossed.

📢 White House Amplifies Hitler-Praising Nazi Propaganda

The White House and Department of Homeland Security shared an image urging Americans to report "foreign invaders" via an ICE tip line—a graphic originally created by a white nationalist who praises Hitler and uses racial slurs online. When the administration reposted this content, the Nazi sympathizer celebrated: "Our efforts are coming out of the White House!" This represents the complete institutionalization of white nationalist ideology within official government communications. The pipeline from extremist propaganda creators to federal policy is now direct and undeniable.

The pattern is unmistakable: a regime that deploys war-zone surveillance against protesters, uses Marines to detain veterans, threatens NATO allies while defending Russia, and literally amplifies Nazi propaganda through official channels. Day 147 proved that American authoritarianism isn't creeping—it's galloping.;’
