Elon Musk Bans Narativ From Broadcasting Live Over Twitter

Twitter's billionaire owner bans the independent news outlet from going live over the social network and intends to delete the archive of Narativ's groundbreaking reporting on the war on democracy.

For the past seven years, Narativ has been a beacon of truth, challenging and exposing the actions of those who threaten our democracy. We have endured various attempts to silence us, including foreign-funded reputational attacks, encounters with foreign spies, and sabotage of our revenue streams. Through it all, we have continued to show up week after week, reporting the truth, and we are not about to stop doing that now.

Despite several attempts to appeal, Twitter has not lifted the restrictions placed on our ability to go live over the social network. This means Narativ is effectively banned from reaching 70% of our audience with our live video reports.
