The eccentric billionaire funder plans to wrap up his DOGE efforts by this Summer.
Elon Musk just admitted he's planning his government exit.
In an interview with Fox News host Bret Baier, Musk confirmed he'll wrap up his role as Trump's efficiency czar within the 130-day limit imposed on special government employees.
"I think we will have accomplished most of the work required to reduce the deficit by a trillion dollars within that time frame," Musk told Baier.
That's a trillion dollars in cuts — about $4 billion every day — with virtually no oversight or documentation.
When Baier asked about a report, Musk was dismissive: "Not really a report. We are cutting the waste and fraud in real time."
