These are crazy times and right now the US is having a net immigration loss. More people are moving away from than are moving to the USA. Wherever you are, please stand up and be counted.
No Kings is a dress rehearsal for civil action on Election Day. We need to organize people at all the election polls with phones steaming what is happening on the ground. Shifts of people at each pill organized locally.
Also, mail in votes need to be sent in as early as possible. These votes are traceable which needs to be monitored.
Other practical action is giving people rides to voting booths & help getting voting ballots sent in early, as early as possible. Then monitoring the ballots.
If you live in an area with a functioning Dem committee, contact them *now* Or League of Women Voters. I think you have to be a lawyer to be an Election Observer? Your state Board of Elections is another place to look for where help is needed? This stuff is serious enough that even for an ordinary election training is required. There are laws about who can do what.
I live in a blue university town, surrounded by Trumpy country. Our 11 polling places are always covered, but not so the polling places in the surrounding areas.
