Thanks for both of your information on these important subjects. I'm not as sure that the BBB will pass. The Senate Parliamentarian is an unsung hero. She struck down the federal judges having to post a security bond for trump administration suits, put the CFPB (Consumer Financial Protection Bureau) back in, took away the SNAP cuts & best of all saved the sale of our public lands & the bad things that went along with that. NATO had to appease trump somewhat in order to save the rule about protecting a country if it's attacked. trump finally agreed to that & in exchange NATO agreed to put forth 5% towards military. Rutte used sarcasm on trump, got into his head & praised him to get what NATO wanted.
Cuomo had troubles with nursing homes during COVID, allegations of sexual harassment, & most importantly, had funding from the CEO of Palantir!! Look it up! Don't think the people of NYC wanted another candidate backed by Thiel, another JD Vance. Palantir also has the ICE contract & was involved with DOGE to steal all our data for domestic surveillance. This is important for NYC.
It pissed me off hearing Blundell joking how he'd probably behave like Bezos and Musk behave, not giving a shit about anything but what they want to do when they want to do it. I don't consider any of the incredibly arrogant shit that they do it be funny, or a joke, or anything I would want to emulate, had I the money to do it. I had a consultancy with Kerry Packer, at that time the richest man in Australia. He was a patriot, not an ex-pat ingrate like Murdoch. He cared about his country. He could do just about anything he wanted to do but he chose his nation over the kind of stupid theater that Musk and Bezos are continually engineering all over the world. Musk gives not one tiny crap for the people in Texas he's polluting, or the animals he's displacing, or the environmental damage he's doing with his SpaceX monopoly. Bezos thinks the world's his playtoy also. Let's block all the canals in Venice and put fake alligators in the way of Venetian's access to their own waters - just so he can stage another grand wedding with a woman who's latched on to his wealth for a time. This whole dance of the delusional billionaires is amusing - for a moment. But it reeks of hubris, disregard for everyone and everything that blocks their moment to strut on the world stage. Frankly, they disgust me. And Blundell, if you want ANY respect from me for your access to my attention, you'd better not celebrate the bullshit behavior of two men who've managed to make massive fortunes by latching on to the good will of people - and governments that have funded their wealth. There is almost nothing to admire in the behavior of these men, after they showed the initiative to tap into the bloodlines of our economy, and/or the pockets of good Americans and other folks across the world.
Really sorry to have missed the last 2 live 5 stacks. I am skeptical about Michael Cohen. Followers of Trump that got screwed by him could be just now going to the side that might be more willing to listen. How can they find power and attention elsewhere. Clearly not interested in obscurity. So maybe Cohen has had an epiphany but I'm not so sure.
I really appreciate both your perspectives on Lev Parnas & Michael Cohen. All points valid. Thanks for bringing this up, Zev.

Important information, thank you, I also think Dean was spot on about Mamdani and how he was able to win this primary!
His exwife is using her fortune to help people. A real philanthropic person
Great podcast, great information and insight!

The NATO meeting was at best an absolute farce. Watching it was like having my teeth pulled without anesthesia...
