Why didn’t these files get released under Biden? A few Dems might have been implicated, but the victims would have been validated. Are any members from the last administration willing to wade in and reveal the whole story?
Biden was 'hands-off' the DOJ and Merrick Garland, he of the supposedly pure 'neither fear nor favor' didn't have it in him, obviously. He took so long to appoint Jack Smith and look where that has led us - to Fascism. A few people have really hurt our democracy of late - Roberts, McConnell, Garland, Alito, the rest of the right wing SC - just a few people have severely damaged this republic.
Yes, I agree with you Lee and Jay. She says what they tell her to say and they either keep her in club fed or change her identity and send her somewhere she can live in disguise. If she doesn’t, she will suffer in some way.
Even mainstream media is calling out the quid pro quo - see the article entitled "Former FBI Chief Describes One 'Suspicious' Moment in Ghislaine Maxwell's Bombshell Tapes" here:
One choice tidbit, where they're quoting Andrew McCabe on CNN:
"'When you listen to the tapes, you get the sense that Ghislaine Maxwell went into that room knowing what information she had to deliver to get their attention and to get their approval and to get some sort of benefit that she is pursuing from the administration,' he explained."
Hey Zev, regarding the 2003 birthday book, I heard, I think from Tara Palmeri, that Ghislaine actually enlisted the help of a few of the victims in assembling the birthday book. Sorry I don't have more exact documentation, but I know I've heard that mentioned more than once.
This cover-up is happening with the active participation of Republicans in Congress:
"Seven House Republicans have voted against a motion that would have allowed a congressional vote on the release of files related to Jeffrey Epstein. This reportedly includes Virginia Foxx (R-NC), Michelle Fischbach (R-MN), Erin Houchin (R-IN), Nicholas A. Langworthy (R-NY), Austin Scott (R-GA), H. Morgan Griffith (R-VA), and Brian Jack (R-GA)."
"The amendment, introduced by Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA), aimed to have Attorney General Pam Bondi preserve and release the records. However, the motion ultimately failed, with a vote tally of 5 to 7. Notably, Rep. Ralph Norman (R-SC) sided with Democrats by voting in favor of the amendment."
"If passed, the amendment would have required the DOJ to disclose evidence in the Epstein case, including multimedia recordings."

I have not listened to the audio but have read the transcript today. Her interview is poorly done by Blanche. I thought he was supposed to be a top notch lawyer before he became owned by Trump, the Fascist. Neither of them helped themselves at all. At one point, another DOJ attorney begins to ask questions and finally there was a feeling of 'breakthrough'. but Blanche jumped in and that was that.
She is a liar. Saying there were no video cameras? And the money! $30 million dollars and she has no answer?
But she did what they wanted - cleared Trump. Trump has long said Clinton went to the island but Giselle clears him, too.
Overall, she has early onset dementia or just obfuscated her way through the interview because she doesn't 'remember' much.
I also read her deposition in Virginia's defamation suit. Wow. She hated her for 'being a liar'. Well, I believe Virginia and not this lying piece of work.
Like Lev when he was in that situation, Dan Bongino has a family he loves and has to think about. I don't think he wants to put them second but then again they can become a target like Michael Cohen.
I listened to the first four hours of the audio, sent out by the Justice Department, where G. Maxwell was being interviewed by Todd Blanche. When I heard the answer to Mr. Blanche’s question to her as to did she know Donald Trump, I knew that she was entering a plea deal - she gushed on and on about him.
Thanks for the clarity on the ridiculous interview.

Oh, Aileen Cannon also comes to mind.

Don't know how Ghislaine became Giselle but.....!! Apologies!
Zev, I'm so glad I found you!
