Why aren”t air traffic controllers and the related technologies funded by either a tax on the airlines at the airport they fly in and out of or as a line item on ticket sales? The government would still regulate and could still run it. Related to that, only people who actually fly would be paying for it. While I totally support free buses, because buses benefit many who cannot afford any form of transportation other than very low-tech forms, like walking or riding bikes, flights are quite different. Safety should not be held hostags to general funding battles.

What I heard prior to listening to your 5 Stack is that Trump refused to agree to getting TSA back to being paid to work along with funding for FEMA, but withholding additional funds for ICE. He is holding all of this at bay unless he gets the SAVE Act passed.
