I remember it well—the day I understood Vladimir Putin's true intentions for the world. I had been daydreaming and gazing at a map, and that's when Putin's power play became clear to me.
Eight years have passed, and now Putin is preparing for another power move against the United States. My analysis from 2017 is still as relevant and alarming today. The only difference this time is that Putin plans to make any changes permanent.
