I have been saying all day that Trump did not lose because he got what he wanted, which is to make money off the war for his family and friends. As for the Straits being shut down. Israel needs to get no more weapons from the US or the EU.

Iran is in control of the Straits of Hormuz and there are about 100-113 ships a day going through, so at $1-2 billion a ship that would be 100-230 million a day.

Maybe, part of Americans’ collective failure is that we think we have functioning institutions. When nobody gets arrested, and out in jail we think the charges we’re hearing about in the press are hyperbolic. Here maybe the system has been corrupted to not function, but it’s not understood, and not considered as an alternate reason that the reporting is correct, and the justice system has been subverted.
