As Unger describes, the Russians have different levels of people that help the security services, spies, assets, etc . Russian oligarchs, and gov officials, have laundered billions of $ in Trump's Towers in Hollywood, Miami, and NY. They rescued him when he went bankrupt with his casino. He owes them, and that's why he does their bidding.
