The President's Mistress Strikes Again
Laura Loomer's national security purge takes out an agency director who is a 4-star general and his deputy.
NSA Director General Timothy Haugh and Deputy Wendy Noble have been fired on Loomer's orders. The nation's signals intelligence agency is now headless at one of the most fraught global moments in US history - based on the word of Trump's campaign trail flame.
Trump's moves are particularly chilling in the context of China's "Salt Typhoon" cyberattack that gave Beijing visibility into the smartphones of every major political figure in America. They also seriously compromise US efforts ties support Ukraine in the war against Russia.
Loomer's ability to strike at 6 senior members of the NSC was alarming enough, but taking out a respected general who heads up an Agency is on a very different level. And while she has the President's ear, she hasn't been smart enough to keep quiet about it.
Loomer bragged about her achievements on social media.
General Timothy D. Haugh is a four-star general. He served as the Commander of U.S. Cyber Command, Director of the National Security Agency (NSA), and Chief of the Central Security Service until his dismissal on April 3, 2025
Jim Himes is the ranking member on the House Intelligence Committee:
Her specific complaint about Noble? Supporting diversity initiatives at NSA. Perhaps the Mistress doesn't like other powerful women.
This is happening during an active cyber war. No vetting. No security consultation. Just immediate compliance with Loomer's demands.
Who's feeding her classified personnel information? Who authorized a conspiracy theorist to decide America's intelligence leadership?
