I was a Canadian before I was an American. I was recruited to work there and then I was recruited back to the CBC. I love both countries bc most of my life they have shared the same values. In 2016, my work has been about the foreign capture of America. I'm not choosing one country over another but I am choosing democracy over autocracy, freedom over tyranny and rule of law vs a weaponized judiciary and only one of those two countries have those important features. Everything I said was about 250 years of America not the last 8 years of Trump. Doing my work out of Trump's grasp seems like a sensible decision.

I’m not sure how long you’ve been a ‘citizen’ of either country but you are back here now so you need to be a lot more respectful towards my country, that’s allowing you to stay out of Trump’s grasp. OR the need to start wars to illegally overthrow governments of other countries to EXPLOIT their oil & natural resources…so the rich can get richer, aka: your ‘American dream’.
