The two Americas I lamented in 2017 have only grown further apart in the eight years since I wrote this piece. This November is our opportunity to unite from coast to coast and in every state around a singular vision. There is only one future America, the United States of America.
This piece has a photo of my grandmother's family who escaped Germany to Russia during World War 2. My mother, who recently passed away, reminded me a few weeks ago that her mother never believed Hitler was possible in 1937. Then, the impossible became reality, and millions of lives were shattered.
Today, Republicans are perched over a critical moment in time. Every individual vote they make will be called out by history for generations to come. If Mike Johnson won’t bring the Ukraine aid bill to the floor, Republicans must oust him.
This November is our opportunity to unite from coast to coast and in every state around a singular message.
There is only one future America, the United States of America.
