Per AmericansForTaxFairness.org:

"The Trump administration has quietly created a new position at the IRS that does not exist in law. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent announced that Frank Bisignano, the current Social Security Commissioner, will now serve as “CEO of the IRS.” That position has never existed. It was not created by Congress. It does not appear anywhere in federal statute.

By inventing a new title, Trump has handed control of the IRS to one of his political allies without going through the Senate confirmation process required for the IRS Commissioner. Bessent remains the “acting commissioner” while Bisignano runs the agency’s day-to-day operations.

This arrangement is an attempt to sidestep the Constitution’s requirement that the Senate confirm major executive branch appointments. It gives Trump direct control over an agency that enforces the tax laws that apply to him and his donors. The public has a right to know who authorized this, what legal authority was used, and whether any internal objections were raised by Treasury or IRS officials.

The IRS is supposed to operate independently. But this move places one of Trump’s loyalists in charge of both the IRS and the Social Security Administration, concentrating enormous power over Americans’ financial data in the hands of one unelected political figure.

The IRS Commissioner’s role was designed to protect the integrity of the tax system. By splitting duties between an “acting commissioner” and a made-up “CEO,” the Trump administration is hollowing out that independence. It replaces lawful oversight with a system of personal loyalty and political control."

Astute analysis. The Admiral for the Southern Command that Hegseth fired was honourable and brave.

Omg, Guys it is so frightening. But when these indictments start coming down, people are going to have to decide…. 1) Is this guy following the law or 2) is he a dictator.

In a way this is good, but it is so awful. WE MUST PRAY & PROTEST that as Trump‘s behavior increases that people don’t get numb and they do SOMETHING— ANYTHING so that we can stop this MADNESS

Politico (‘I love Hitler’: Leaked Messages Expose Young Republicans’ Racist Chat):

"Thousands of private messages reveal young GOP leaders joking about gas chambers, slavery and rape... They referred to Black people as monkeys and “the watermelon people” and mused about putting their political opponents in gas chambers. They talked about raping their enemies and driving them to suicide and lauded Republicans who they believed support slavery..."

Trump et al have already committed treason, have they not? How can we make this so clear to all who can hear that even enough Republicans see the need to impeach and remove? Is Epstein, weirdly, going to save us?

NYT: "It was unclear why Admiral Holsey is suddenly departing, less than a year into what is typically a three-year job, and in the midst of the biggest operation in his 37-year career. But one current and one former U.S. official, both of whom spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss personnel matters, said that Admiral Holsey had raised concerns about the mission and the attacks on the alleged drug boats.

In a statement on social media, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth made no mention of any friction with his four-star commander. 'On behalf of the Department of War,' said Mr. Hegseth, using the name of the department he now prefers, 'we extend our deepest gratitude to Admiral Alvin Holsey for his more than 37 years of distinguished service to our nation as he plans to retire at year’s end.'...

'At a moment when U.S. forces are building up across the Caribbean and tensions with Venezuela are at a boiling point, the departure of our top military commander in the region sends an alarming signal of instability within the chain of command,' [Senator Jack] Reed said in a statement..."

HOLY HELL ZEV!! I just discovered Admiral Holsey yesterday because he is the Admiral that went followed the orders .. AGAIN YESTERDAY. to blow out those boats. So I was starting to do a psychological profile of him because I wondered what sort of person would follow these orders!

AND NOW HE RESIGNS??! After blowing out how many boats now and how many innocent people with no due process? Yeah, what sort of psychological make up follows orders like that especially after judges told him not to….. I want the psychological make up….(insert wringing hands here.)

He was let on in 1988. He has an incredible career! Hey, if you want to team up and do some research on him, I’m all down! I’m already looking to find some personal information about him and having some trouble if you have any tips, I’ll go out and do it! This is a story. It’s a good story.!!! @ZevShalev

Do you read these? Maybe I should DM you 🤷🏼‍♀️

Thank you for the astute analysis, Olga.

It’s so crazy that Trump is working hand in hand with Putin. Putin knows Trump loves and admires him.
