In a small cluster, you're not much of a target for Trump's thugs. Thugs (troops, ICE, guards, agents provocateurs) will aim to stampede the crowd and cause a breakdown of kindness / discipline. They want to allege a "riot". They'll harass and use tear gas, pepper spray, rubber bullets, water cannon, dogs, and/or whatever the hell they can to hurt demonstrators and incite a heavy response. Bring water. Demonstrate in very small clusters. Keep mobility. Stay calm. Record and upload fast.
I love the dialogue but how can you be optimistic that there will be a course correction given the magnitude of the criminality and authoritarianism? I don't mean to sound obtuse, but wait a second. You guys are literally experts in all things soul crushing in tragedy from Ukraine to S. Africa and back to Gaza after 20 years of all things Iraq through Syria. We're going to see a course correction without millions dying violently? I'm serious. Maybe I'm overreacting?
