I can't thank you non-US guys enough for standing up in the way that our "elected" Republican officials will not. Every time I write to them they send back a bunch of gibberish. So many of us are trying to get our politicians to reign this a**hole in, but we're banging our heads against the wall if we have Rs in power in our state (all 3 in my case, in FL. The indigenous people—our Australian Aboriginals—were not regarded as human beings, but as subhuman types of primitive animal. This opened up the thinking that, if the land was uninhabited by other human peoples, it was therefore EMPTY, VACANT. This then enabled the settlers and squatters to come in and take what they wanted, setting up their own sheep runs and cropping enterprises.
The real happenings that were suppressed and hidden from public view by this propaganda belief system were nationwide massacres of the Aboriginal people, whole families at a time, hunted down and shot by raiding parties of the local settlers aided by government police forces. Or else they were poisoned, by settlers planting arsenic and similar substances in the food rations they handed out to the locally dispossessed tribes.
This history has now been effectively exposed. Modern historians have documented both massacres and land grabs, as well as prevailing attitudes of the time. A quick search of the internet will give you ample resources if you are interested to follow this up.
Take this account, point by point, and substitute Greenland. See how far the parallels stretch right to this modern dehumanising of a people and their rights to their land. Then take Minneapolis and check the parallels to those original Australian raiding parties.

Yesterday I asked Jacob Kaarsbo if there was something in Danish or Greenlandic equivalent to Slava Ukraini. He said, in Danish you could say: Vi står sammen med Grønland -- We stand with Greenland. He doesn't know Greenlandic, but when I find out how to say that, I'll let everyone know. We can post Vi står sammen med Grønland -- We stand with Greenland widely, and let our Greenlandic and Danish neighbors know we support peace and friendship with them.
