It has been $4+ per gallon for several weeks on the west coast. California has been hitting $6/gallon, even a few weeks ago. Now at $5+ per gallon. Higher prices on west coast may be partially due to road taxes on per gallon gasoline but gas has always been higher priced. So the west coast has been assisting with increasing the wealth of trump's oligarchs.
The problem of this conversion ruling can be handled by state laws.
The issue isn't the so-called cure, it's how law defines it.
The law may allow a parent to drag a child to church; but the law doesn't allow the church to coerce either the child's belief or private identity.
So don't outlaw the religious 'cure', place children's emotional development under the protection of law and medical practice.
That means a bill to criminalize 'coercive acts of identity change, upon minors by caregivers.' Then, the Blue State Medical boards regulate the rest. It's not a crime for a bigot to have a child; it's a crime for the bigot to harm a child. Oh, and society has never allowed a parent alone to define 'harm', not since the 19th century.
