Zev, I'm sorry to say it, I have followed you closely for some time now. I can't take it anymore. These discussions and predictions of doom and terror are giving me horrible anxiety. You and your friends offer no REAL solutions to the dilemma. No positive talk about what IS being done about the current situation. Just the talk about what should be done. I reached the point in my life when I increasingly clam up. I don't want to hear anything anymore. I quit TV entirely over 15 years ago, there is no TV in my house. I think internet will be next, probably just for doing essentials.
I noticed on N....ix a push of Science Fiction Action movies involving AI - human fusion. Isn't that what Thiel-Musk-and-co are working on? I feel the Tech World creeping into my brain. I fear younger generations can't live without it anymore. I'm old enough to remember a life without Electronic Technology. I'm worried humanity will not survive a sudden loss of everything powered by electricity / electronics, which a gigantic natural or artificial EMP could potentially achieve, or am I wrong?
Congress should fund SNAP, swear in Adelita Grijalva, stop Trump from bombing fishing boats without due process and stop Trump from starting war with Venezuela at minimum during this shutdown. There is no excuse for avoiding any of this by any member of Congress.
