When they get ripped up, the carbon stored in the peat is suddenly released into the atmosphere --- powering the Climate Emergency even further.

3. When a person is in intensive care, and the signal on that machine at their bedside flatlines, that indicates their heart has given out. They are dead.

One of the works I rely on is that of David Graeber and David Wengrow. A New History of Humanity. 2022. They are comparative in their archaelogical and anthropological analyses, comparing the evidence from a wide variety of archaeological examples, from different continents. I studied Biology at one point and find the evidence for evolution to be reliable. Therefore, in my thinking, I don't rely on any texts that are based in the doctrine of any particular religious belief system --- whether pagan, animist, Jain, Hindu., Buddhist, Sikh, Daoist, Christian, or some other outlook. These religions all have cultural and spiritual value that is important to believers. I find the variety of humanity's religions fascinating and see them as part of humans' thinking and feeling about the world. From the evidence I've read, I realize the evolution of Homo sapiens and other hominid species extends from at least several million years ago. All the best
