I am glad you quit early because I couldn't stand watching him think he did greatness giving out his awards. And his demeaning of the Democrats and his lies were too much for me. It was hard to come down from all the clapping - I hope someday they all look back on this and realize how stupid they looked.
I agree. Oprah may have been captivating, so was Trump to many. That doesn't equate good. Anyone who's a billionaire is not good. No one can earn that much money on their own good merits and or by hard work. They're all in the club, we're not.
I do not begrudge her her money. But, very few/likely no one can have (whether earned or inherited) that much money without being a complete and insufferable narcissist. Her annual list of 20 things only she can afford but everyone should want to have makes me sick. I cannot stand her or her bff Gayle, who is the same level of narcissist only by osmosis.

A little unfair to compare Trump's weak speech & wobbly spectacle to the Oprah show... She's much more attractive, articulate, and engaging while Trump exerts no effort at all and doesn't even pretend to care about the citizens of his country.
