It make me disgusted with the government. It’s hard to believe our government has hidden this info for more than 40 years. And had not vetted the info before releasing it. A government who I trusted. I subscribe to you for almost a year. And read and watched your investigation connect the dots. Your reporting made me question what has been going on for years. Our institutions have failed us. The moment that the FBI deemed the letter fake, I felt it likely to have been deliberately faked and included precisely in order to raise doubt about everything else.
Releasing the fakes would make sense ONLY if they were clearly marked as such; then they'd actually be useful. Same with the redactions - any competent, ethical agency would have provided a clear index of redactions and the reasoning (victim info, PII, etc.).
This is just blatant misdirection and manipulation. Very grateful for people with integrity who refuse to take their eyes off the ball.
please explain the relationship between Bondi and Blanche as relates to release of the files....Blanche seems to be the one primarily answering to questions about vetting of the files...

Folks should go to Seth Abramson on Bluesky. He’s not dismissing this letter as a fake. I think Lev may be jumping to this conclusion too quickly. Seth Abramson says that according to CNN, the Epstein/Nassar letter was sent from MCC in nyc and got vetted by federal officials. The FBI is in VA, hence the VA postmark.

If it's "Fake", why won't they release the original handwriting analysis that was done?

More to my point is that they had to do it in order to say it's fake right? They admitted doing it even! Yet when asked to release it they said no!??
