There are references to previous attempts by Cohen to get out of jail early in this Southern District of NY "Opinion and Order" filed 3/20/24, from which I quote:
"First, in December 2019, Cohen moved for a reduction of his term of imprisonment
pursuant to Rule 35(b) of the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure. See ECF No. 51. Judge
Pauley denied that motion in March 2020. See ECF No. 72. Between July 2022 and May 2023,
after the case was reassigned to the undersigned (due to the death of Judge Pauley), Cohen filed three motions for early termination of his term of supervised release (which is due to expire in November of this year). See ECF Nos. 77, 81, 84. The Court denied all three. See ECF Nos. 80, 83, 87. In this Opinion, the Court turns to a fourth motion for early termination of Cohen’s supervised release and the question of whether sanctions are warranted for that motion’s citation to three cases that do not exist."
I wonder how many non-Americans there are out there (like me - I’m English) who feel so helpless in the teeth of this gruesome administration’s attempts at manipulating and threatening the whole world; this not just a tragedy and a disaster for Americans. This is a global melt down. A demented malignant narcissist and his self-serving followers are putting us all in danger. Those of us who can’t contribute other than to subscribe to great substacks, like Zev’s et al, feel caught up, if we are paying attention (and we really should be because it’s about us, too) in a rollercoaster over which we have even less control than Americans. I don’t even know if I’m entitled to sign any petition. I certainly can’t, even if I could afford to, contribute to any campaign. I just have to sit here, like everyone else on the non-American rest of the planet, and watch this horror story unfold until enough people in Congress have the vertebrae to say “STOP this madness” even if it harms them personally. This shouldn’t be about anything personal. This matters on so many levels more important than the wellbeing of any individual’s backside. Shame on anyone who thinks they matter more than keeping the planet safe from this political vandalism.
Michael said he didn’t know Epstein that Drump wasn’t hanging with him in his 10 yrs as his fixer. I heard about Katie the 13 y/o many yrs ago passed down at my weekends sailing out of his marina at the Castle casino. Santos lies like a Drump, another ego freak!
I agree with you all, it's not about the sex with underage girls that worries him because he knows that basically his crew doesn't really care about what happens to females. Period! It's showing his inability to make money honestly that he doesn't want MAGA to know about. They follow him because they believe his lies about being a great deal maker who's made millions by the "art of the deal" -making business. If they find out it's all from criminal activity they'll drop him like a hot potato. He claims that those that aren't rich are "losers" so he will be proving what an absolute loser he himself is! The Epstein Files contain that proof which is of course why he doesn't want that info to be seen by the public. Also what deals did he make to not get charged when the law knew what he had done? This is a very wide ranging coverup. Some of those former attorneys are on his team right now!
Glenn Kirschner was on BTC show & was discussing the ruling of Judge Englemeyer. Ro Khanna & Massie had asked the Judge for a special monitor. 2 survivors had also presented letters before Englemeyer. Englemeyer suggested a suit could be filed by Khanna & Masssie with survivors as standing. Kirschner thought this was a good hint by the judge since the case & Judge & the plaintiffs all would have standing. Bondi kept whining that Englemeyer had no standing
I told everyone! Can you imagine, if the only time he was caught on camera threatening someone who has info on Trump doing wrong, he’s got way more, years more info he could share. We wouldn’t be here now if Michael Cohen had ever told the truth.
