Private clubs often hire teenage kids to work - ie tennis check in, golf check in/cart barn, pool & summer kids camps, etc. VRG was supposedly a spa/locker attendant (which would typically be the ladies locker room) picking up towels, giving flip flops, etc. Which this tracks with reports that G. Maxwell saw her reading a “massage” book in the locker room. I am not excusing, in any way, the recruiting and abuse by Epstein/Maxwell. My grandfather was in the gliders and was in d day and battle of the bulge. The only survivor of his first unit. He received the distinguished service cross and was forever traumatized and wouldn’t talk about his time in the war. She got a lot of votes considering how stacked the deck was between late start, inability to differentiate from Biden on Gaza, inability to commit to and successfully complete long-form interviews, etc. The instinct to jump to a misogynistic racist America as the reason for her loss is shared by many, but a truly misogynistic racist America probably wouldn’t have delivered as many votes for her as it did. If we ever find out through investigations that machines were manipulated and the outcome was that she won some or many of the swing states absent that manipulation, these broad brush strokes about American voters will be even less true.
